Ningxia-China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) has included the production of polypropylene (PP) in its plans for a RMB 8.2-billion ($1.2-billion), 5-million-t/y refinery complex in China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region. The project, on which work has been started, involves the production of 100,000 t/y of PP, 1.73-million t/y of gasoline, 2.38-million t/y of diesel and 210,000 t/y of liquefied natural gas.
