Sines-Repsol said it has started work on a project that will increase capacity for ethylene, polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) at Sines, Portugal (PCN, 6 Aug 07, p 3). The expansion, in which the company will invest more than ?1-billion, is one of Repsol's "main worldwide growth projects" and is scheduled for completion in 2011.
