Antwerp-Lanxess AG plans to invest about ?35-million to expand its Antwerp, Belgium, complex, including plans to increase capacity of caprolactam to further strengthen its polyamide business. The plant, which is to be expanded 10% by 2010, currently has about 200,000 t/y of caprolactam capacity and is part of a large complex consisting of five plants for the production of caprolactam.
