Cleveland-Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) and PolyOne have formed an alliance to develop bio-based plasticizers from corns and oilseeds. "There is a clear market interest in renewable technology as an alternative to traditional petroleum-based plasticizer offerings," noted Cecil Chappelow, vice president, innovation, sustainability, and chief innovation officer of PolyOne.
