Tokyo-Mitsui Chemicals Inc. (MCI) has decided to terminate the production and sales of aniline at its Ichihara Works complex in Japan. The plant, which has a capacity of 66,000 t/y, will discontinue production in March, and "is predicted to have minimal effect on operations and profitability," of the company, MCI said. Sales are scheduled to be terminated in September.
