Rio de Janeiro— Petrobras' board of directors last week approved the company's 2010-2014 Business Plan, which calls for total investments of $224-billion, with $5.1-billion of that amount allocated for petrochemicals. The petrochemical investments will focus on production of both petrochemicals and biopolymers, "preferentially via equity investments with partners, focused on Brazil, in a manner that is integrated with other company operations," Petrobras said.
