Sao Paulo-Brazilian firms Oxiteno and Petroquimica Uniao (PQU) have signed a contract for the supply of ethylene by PQU to Oxiteno, Business News Americas reported last week. The long-term contract, which takes effect immediately, will allow Oxiteno to increase its ethylene oxide capacity to 65,000 t/y from 50,000 t/y currently, the report said. The amount of ethylene to be supplied by PQU was not given.
