Tokyo-Showa Denko KK (SDK) said it will begin commercial production of SR-21 allyl ester resin early next year at the company's Oita complex in Japan.SR-21 is based on SDK's own proprietary technology using allyl alcohol as feedstock, which is synthesized directly from propylene and acetic acid.
