Seoul-PolyMirae, a joint venture of Daelim and LyondellBasell, has completed the installation of LyondellBasell's Metocene polypropylene (PP) technology to one of its Spheripol lines in Yeochun, Korea (PCN, 12 Jan 09, p 4). "This start up represents the first commercial production of Metocene-based PP in Asia," noted Kaspar Evertz, senior vice president of LyondellBasell's licensing business.
