Tokyo-Mitsubishi Rayon Co. last week said it "expects to complete the acquisition of Lucite promptly after obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals" (PCN, 16 Mar 09, p 2). Mitsubishi was responding to published reports that the acquisition of all of Lucite's outstanding shares was being delayed by regulators in China, where both companies have production and sales activities.
