Ludwigshafen- BASF, following its acquisition of Ciba, has identified which businesses will be located at the former Ciba Holding headquarters in Basel, Switzerland (PCN, 13 Apr 09, p1). Effective 1 July, BASF will establish a research center focusing on plastics, coatings and paper; and a new Business Center Switzerland, which will provide a platform for sales as well as finance and personnel functions in Switzerland. Both will occupy the former Ciba headquarters.
