Raunheim-Treofan said it has completed the sale of its cast polypropylene (CPP) activities in Italy, and will now concentrate on its "core" biaxi-ally oriented polypropylene (BOPP) business. The sale to local investors, valued at about ?2-million, involves the production site and assets in Lamezia. The production of CPP was "not in line with Treofan's focus on high performance BOPP, labels and specialty packaging, technical films and tobacco films," the company explained.
