Rio de Janeiro— The Brazilian development bank, BNDES, has approved a 2.46-billion real ($1.4-billion) credit line for Braskem, to be used to expand its petrochemical production in Brazil. Braskem must use the funds within the next 10 years, with disbursements to be made based on the individual project, reported Bloomberg, citing a statement from the bank.
