Beiiins-China Petrochemical Corp. (Sinopec Group) expects Chinese demand for ethylene to grow faster than capacity, resulting in a possible shortfall of ethylene by 2015, reported Bloomberg, citing a company publication.By 2015, Chinese ethylene consumption could reach 29-million t/y, representing an annual increase of 4.5%. During the same period, production capacity will rise to only 20-million t/y.
