Kinssport—Eastman Chemical has announced plans to increase capacity for its Benzoflex plasticizers and Admex polymeric plasti-cizers at facilities in Estonia and North America. At the Kohtla-Jarve, Estonia, site, Eastman will add 11,000 t/y of Benzoflex capacity in a project that is scheduled to be completed by the end of the second quarter of next year. In addition, the company plans to expand its Benzoflex and Admex lines in Chestertown, Md., and Kingsport, Tenn., by a combined total of 9,000 t/y. These North American expansions are also expected to be completed by the end of the 2012 second quarter.
