Taipei-Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs will make a decision on again relocating the proposed Kuokuang Petrochemical Park only after it receives the final results of an environmental impact assessment for the project (PCN, 6 Sept 2010, p 3). The location of the planned complex has been moved several times, most recently to Tacheng from Yunlin, where it had been unable to obtain the necessary environmental and other approvals.
