摘要

Daesan-HC Pet-rochem, a joint venture of Cosmo Oil and Hyundai Oilbank, is tripling paraxylene capacity at its plant in Daesan, South Korea (PCN, 30 Nov 09, p 1). Paraxylene capacity will be increased to 1.18-million t/y from the current capacity of 380,000 t/y, using UOP's Parex and Isomar processes. Basic engineering has begun and startup is expected in the second half of 2013.
