摘要

A numerical study of the problem of radiative heat transfer to magneto-hydrodynamic couette flow as affected by the conductance of the wall of the channel is performed in the paper. Numerical solutions are obtained for the temperature using the Runge-Kutta and the Newton-Raphson Shooting algorithm. Results obtained show that the rate of heat transfer increases with decreasing values of the Hartmann number when the wall is non-conducting. but increase with increasing values of the magnetic Reynolds number at a given value of electrical conductance.
