The foggiest idea: A new low maintenance system utilises man-made fog to suppress dust in a variety of bulk handling applications. It has been developed by German company B+W
A new technology for the humidification of air, gas and material cooling, binding of dust in technical plants, as well as for controlling odours at the work site and in the environment, has been developed by B+W. The Naltec system generates man-made fog with the same properties as natural fog produced in the early morning hours. This fog consists of very fine floatable water droplets. Applications include all areas of the bulk materials industry for the suppression of dust as well as for all kinds of material humidification, for example, where a minimum moisture content is necessary to avoid cracks or tears in the material. Additional areas of application are air humidification in production and storage facilities as well as the cooling of air, gases and solid materials.
