Small port terminal applications requiring onsite mobility and transport mobility for multi-site operations could benefit from a VL1000 mobile loader/unloader complete on a single chassis for transport and onsite mobility. Within the bulk handling sector one of the largest portion of cost involved in production is the transfer of materials from the site of processing to the end user. The transfer of material by waterways provides a cost effective route and also the most carbon friendly route to market. With the escalating price of oil, producers and suppliers alike are looking at reducing costs where possible. And the transport of aggregates is one example of a market that is increasing its use of transport of materials by water.
