We have investigated the doubly excited ~(1,3)P ~e and ~(1,3)D ~o non-autoionizing states of two-electron highly stripped atoms within the framework of the Ritz variational principle. Highly correlated wave functions are used to represent the correlation effect between the charge particles. Precise non-relativistic energy eigenvalues of 2pnp ~1P ~e(n=37), 2pnp ~3P ~e (n=26) and 2pnd ~(1,3)D ~o (n=37) states for the systems N ~(5+), O ~(6+), F ~(7+), Ne ~(8+), Na ~(9+) and Mg ~(10+) are reported. The present results for 2pnp ~(1,3)P ~e state energies of O ~(6+) and 2pnd ~(1,3)D ~o state energies of N ~(5+) are accurate in precision compared with the available theoretical results. The wavelengths for 2pnp ~1P ~e→2pn d ~1D ~o (n, n6) and 2pnp ~3P ~e→2pnd ~3D ~o (n, n6) transitions and the effective quantum numbers (n*) for 2pnp ~(1,3)P ~e and 2pnd ~(1,3)D ~o states have been calculated.
