摘要

An amplitude modulated high power Gaussian laser, propagating through n-InSb causes mass modulation of electrons via temperature modulation. This leads to periodic self focusing of the laser at the modulation frequency. When a second laser beam of a different frequency propagates through this region, it gets amplitude modulated due to electron mass modulation. The process of cross modulation is strongly enhanced by the self focusing of the lasers. [References: 15]
