摘要

Magneto-structural correlations in Cu(en)(2)pt(CN)(4) (en = C2H8N2) have been investigated by experimental studies of the magnetic properties and hydrogen bond geometry. The analysis of electron paramagnetic resonance spectra confirmed the d(z)(2) electronic ground state of Cu(II) ion expected from room temperature X-ray measurements. Magnetization and susceptibility data indicate the presence of weak exchange coupling J/k(B) = -0.4 K. Consequently, a spin diffusive regime in the spin relaxation can be expected at 4 K, and the angular dependence of the linewidth can be qualitatively explained by considering two-dimensional magnetic behaviour.
