摘要

A teno of eledion–hole exchange interaction in, verticallystacked double quantum dots is developed. This theory wasbuilt up from the full interacting Hamiltonian of two coupleddots, taking into account both of the macroscopic and micro-scopic rintvires of particle wave functions. In the basisof &type Fock–Darwin orbitals, compact formulations forelectroh–hole exchange terms responsible for the tine struc- tore splitting of spin exciton states as functions of materialparameters, geometric structure of dots, and the strength ofexternal field are explicitly derived. Significant reduction ofthe splitting, down to 50% of the magnitude of such energy insingle dot cases, is observed as the system is switched intothe near-resonance regime.
