摘要

The temperature dependence of the bulk modulus B-T(T) and interatomic separation r(T) are investigated from room temperature up to the melting temperature for sixteen ionic solids. In the present paper, the relations for BT(T) and r(T) are developed with the approximation that the Anderson-Gruneisen parameter Br is independent of temperature (T) when Tis higher than the Debye temperature OD. A phenomenological equation of state is also obtained. These relations can be used to predict the Values of B-T(T) and r(T) at different temperatures. The results are compared with available experimental data and are discussed in view of recent research in the field of high temperature physics. A very good agreement between theory and experiment suggests the validity of the present work. [References: 15]
