Nine leading researchers are to joinStephen Hawking as visiting fellows at thePerimeter Institute for Theoretical PhysicsIn Ontario, Canada. The researchers, whoinclude string theorists Leonard Susskindfrom Stanford University and Asoka Senfrom the Harisch-Chandra ResearchInstitute in India, will each spend a fewmonths of the year at the institute as"distinguished research chairs". They willbe joined by another 30 scientists to beannounced at a later date.
