Europe should build a test facility for carbon capture and storage within the next three years as well as a new high-energy gamma-ray observatory, ac-cording to a road map published last month by the European Strategy Forum for Research Infrastructures (ESFRI). The two facilities are among 10 projects that did not appear on a previous version of the road map released in 2006, bringing the total number of projects on ESFRI's wish list to 44.
