We report on the temperature dependence of resistivity rho, magnetic susceptibility chi, and specific heat under various pressures for the single crystal of an antiferromagnet Ce2Rh3Ge5. The Neel temperature T-N disappears at P-c = 0.45 GPa. For P > P-c non-Fermi liquid behavior is observed in both rho(T) and chi(T); rho(T) = rho(0) + AT(n) (ncongruent to1.45) and chi(T) = chi(0) - DTm (mcongruent to0.27). Even for P > 3P(c) both n and m hardly change, i.e., no recovery of the Fermi-liquid state. Moreover, the Kondo temperature T-K increases very weakly from 10 K at P = 0 to 13 K at P = 0.57 GPa. These findings indicate the important role of short-range magnetic correlations in the revised Doniach phase diagram. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved. [References: 12]
