The current-voltage characteristics of the Au-V2O5-Au thin film sandwich system at different temperatures were studied. The DC conduction mechanism was explained using Jonscher-Ansari modified Poole-Frenkel type. Both freshly evaporated and annealed vanadium pentoxide films are amorphous.
