摘要

The hot press method was employed for the synthesis of a new family of the high T-c superconductor (CuTl)Ba2Can-1CunO2n+4-y. By varying the starting composition of the samples, the optimum preparation conditions for the Cu1-xTlxBa2Ca2Cu3O10-y (x = 0.25-0.75) phases were studied. The highest T-c (121 K) sample of (Cu0.3Tl0.7)-1223 was obtained by hot press sintering at 1000 degrees C for 3 h. Highly oriented (Cu0.3Tl0.7)-1223 samples along the c-axis were obtained by the same way. (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved. [References: 6]
