In this paper the effects of Mn doping on the superconductivity in La2xSrxCuO4 superconductor is studied, It is found that the superconducting transition temperature T-c keeps at 37 K in La-1.85 1.5Sr0.15+1.5Cu1-xMnxO4 for x <= 0.1. This result indicates that the suppression of superconductivity in Mn doped system does not tit the Abrikosov and Gork'ov theory which predicts that T-c should decrease in the presence of magnetic impurities. We suggest that the Mn impurities only localize the charge carriers around them. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
