High temperature superconducting EuBa2Cu3O7 films and EuBa3Cu3O7 / SrTiO3 multilayers with a-axis orientation (CuO2 planes perpendicular to the substrate) have been grown by sputtering on SrTiO3 substrates. In the vortex liquid phase, the anisotropy follows the thin him H-c2(theta) tnodel in both systems. In the case of films the anisotropy parameter is similar to the values reported in single crystals and c-asis films. On the other hand the multilayers show a weakening of the anisotropy with lower values of the anisotropy parameter than in usual systems. The competition among different lengths could be a hint to explain this behavior. [References: 4]
