摘要

Studies on the electrochemical oxidation of carbon blacks in concentrated phosphoric acid at 135 to 160 exp 0 C will be reviewed. The objective of the paper is to provide some understanding of the electrochemical-oxidation mechanism and the influence of physicochemical properties on the oxidation rate of carbon blacks. The effects of heat-treatment on the surface area and crystal structure of carbon black and electrochemical-oxidation rate will be discussed. (ERA citation 08:054049)
