This study is an engineering and economic evaluation of the KILnGAS process aimed at:n• Development of overall plant process designs based on a design philosophy consistent with other studies under EPRI RP No. 239-2.n• Preparation of necessary flowsheets, cost estimates and economic evaluations for two gasification combined-cycle (GCC) power plant cases based on the KILnGAS coal gasification process.n• Continued development of a consistent set of economic evaluations of GCC systems which employ both second-generation gasifiers and power block designs based on currently available combustion turbines having a 2000°F "firing temperature."
