A number of narrow energy band x-ray beams suitable for evaluating detector responses between 60 and 170 keV have been developed using filtered X-rays, and verified by Ge(Li) spectrometry. The exposure rates were measured with a free air ionization chamber and shown to decrease with the square of distance from the x-ray target.
