Oscillation experiments with Pu-containing fuel elements are planned to be done in the reactor ECO at the CCR ISPRA in a near future. To study the inference that one can draw from such integral measurements to the calculation of the reactivity of irradiated lattices we have investigated in a number of oa3es the influence of the plutonium on the spectrum as well in the fuel as in the moderator;also we studied the effects of a non¬uniform spatial distribution of the plutonium in the fuel. Finally we estimated the values of the heterogeneous parameters for such a fuel.
