摘要

Process design and cost estimates for plants to recover uranium values from leached zone ore are presented in this report. The following two al ternate processing methods are considered:nCase I - Production of 265 Tons U/YearnUranium removal from leached zone is accomplished by wet mining and ore dressing followed by sulfuric acid digestion, filtration, liquid-liquid extraction and UF4 precipitation with HF.nCase H - Production of 275 Tons U/YearnUranium removal from leached zone is accomplished by wet mining and ore dressing followed by sulfuric acid digestion, ion exchange and precipitation with NH3.nThe two processes are identical through the mining, ore dressing and sulfuric acid digestion steps.
