摘要

The applicability of multispectral microwave radiation, detected by radiometric means, to geoscientific objectives of remote sensing was studied. The data characteristics were determined by applying the principles of signal analysis of stochastic events. It is possible to prove the existence of object-related textures and that they are classifiable. The application of data reconstruction methods, using a priori knowledge, improves geometric resolving power by an increase in radiometric contrast, even with disturbed data. Modeling of object-related optical coefficients permits scene contents recorded under different environmental radiation conditions to be compared.
