摘要

A number of capitalist democracies are characterized by 'macrocorporatism.' Forthe moment leaving the extensive political science debate on the nature of corporatism aside, the system has at least two outstanding attributes: centralized bargaining between organized capitalists and workers on important socio-economic topics and various forms of interaction between state agents and representatives of these groups. The paper elaborates the prospects and results of centralized bargaining and the related role of the state.
