摘要

The Public Use Tape presents the survey data file, an SPSS file program, a Table Producing Language (TPL) file program, a TPL codebook and a COBOL file used to produce the survey data file of annual consumption and expenditures data. The survey data file contains basic data concerning building characteristics from the interview questionnaire and annualized (October 1979 - January 1980) fuel consumption and expenditures derived from the records of the building's fuel suppliers. Also included are weather variables, and a weighting variable. The file contains 6,222 sample buildings from the contiguous U.S. These buildings represent 4.0 million weighted buildings. The smallest unit of analysis is the individual building.
