No significant adverse effect on reproductive success of mountain bluebirds (Siala curruccides), western bluebirds (S. mexicana), and house wrens (Troglodyytes aedon) was detected after aerial application of DDT at a rate of 0.84 kilogram per hectare. The 2-year study determined the fate of 656 eggs within the spray area and 711 eggs within the control area.
