摘要

The following observations were noted: (1) ATP and CP levels decline within minutes in ischemic myocardium and remain low for three weeks. ATP derivatives increase transiently. (2) ATP and CP levels also decrease in nonischemic muscle surrounding ischemic muscle. (3) Contractile force declines rapidly in ischemic muscle,but increases in surrounding nonischemic muscle. (4) Dipyridamol has no effect on contractile force in ischemic muscle. (5) Exogenous inosine increases contractile force in ischemic and nonischemic muscle. (6) Inosine has no effect on ATP and CP levels in ischemic muscle. (7) Beta-adrenergic blockade had no effect on positive inotropic effect of inosine. (8) Catecholamine depletion attenuates positive inotropic effects of inosine.
