摘要

The principal objective was to continue the development of digital instrumentation and telemetry for water resources research. Considerable study was made as to the specifications for the remote instrument package. Several custom data acquisition systems were built for various sponsors and the experience gained in these developments was used in the prototype development used in this study. From the system design has come the specification,design,and development of a number of system components. A digital clock and multiplexor has been developed that outputs the standard time record each time a control signal is applied to the multiplexor control input. Several transmitter and receiver units have been incorporated in remote data acquisition systems operated by other agencies.
