Single daily I.V. doses of daunomycin were injected for 3days followed by 3days no treatment period for total of 15treatments. All (4) dogs at 2.0mg/kg level died after 3, 3, 5,and 6doses. Mortality in dogs (2) at 1.0mg/kg level was produced after 6and 15doses. All dogs survived 0.5mg/kg dose level. Treatment with 0.25mg/kg was nontoxic. Treatment with 0.5mg/kg was the toxic dose 'high'.
