This report summarizes the experience of all six sites during their first year of implementation, based on in-person site visits and document review. This report also includes claims-based analyses of disparities in cancer screening across the six sites. The second Report to Congress, due to Congress two years after this first report, will address the research questions posed by Congress and include results from analysis of Medicare claims data, Cancer Status Assessment (CSA) surveys, demonstration cost data, and a second round of case studies. A final Report will include results from analysis of the CSA surveys collected through the end of the demonstration as well as Medicare claims data.
