This Circular provides amplifying information for implementing the Coast Guard's policy announced in reference (a) for resolving conflicts between its regulations for the carriage of navigation equipment and those in the 2000 revision of Chapter V of the 1974 International convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS).
