摘要

Tests with short pulse high power semiconductor generators have been carried out in co-operation between FOA and SAAB Ericsson Avionics. Presented in this report is an attempt to jam the CARABAS radar system and laboratory tests concerning jamming of mobile phones and pulse transmission through band-pass filters. The attempt to jam CARABAS failed, mainly due to problems with delivering enough power from our generators. The tests with mobile phones showed that relatively low energy levels were needed to brake the communication if the pulse repetition frequency was high enough. There are still unresolved questions about the interaction between those short wide-band pulses and band-pass filters.
