摘要

Joint venture cooperation is one of the most common forms of cooperation in many211u001eindustry sectors. In the defense industry, cooperation has often been attached to 211u001ean international procurement programs, thus limiting their expected time of life 211u001eand also strategic scope. The report further discusses classic joint venture 211u001eproblems such as autonomy and integration, and areas especially relevant to the 211u001epresent situation; initiation of joint ventures and handling duplication within a 211u001ejoint venture. Mutual dependence is discussed as a possible future basis for 211u001ecompetence distribution in a restructured defense industry.
