This project was proposed to evaluate the feasibility and methodology of211u001eimplementing match cure technology and maturity measurement systems into TxDOT 211u001eacceptance criteria for concrete construction projects. This report will deal 211u001estrictly with the investigation into the use of match cure technology. There are 211u001efour main objectives of this research project. First, the potential for using 211u001ematch cure technology in the precast concrete industry will be evaluated. Second, 211u001ea set of guidelines will be developed for using this technology in the field. 211u001eThird, the limitations of the technology will be evaluated and addressed. And, 211u001efourth, a revision of the current specifications will be developed to include the 211u001euse of match cure technology as acceptance criteria for precast concrete.
