摘要

Poly(epsilon-caprolactone) is aliphatic, biodegradable and hydrolyticallyunstable polyester. Polymer degrades both in vivo and in vitro with release of nontoxic degradation products. The polymers of epsilon-caprolactone have been used in medical applications, in blends and as a compatibilizer. The ring-opening polymerization of epsilon-caprolactone with stannous octoate as a catalyst and with hydroxyl end group and acid intiators was studied. The effect of amount of initiator, polymerization time and temperature on polymer product was also studied in this paper.
